Men's Health Centre Program

The staff at the Centre works together to provide the best possible care for you. That team is made up of a Doctor and professional people who work in Addictions, Mental Health Public Health, and Family Services- multi-disciplinary. You will see all or some of these people as we give you the help you need.

International Men’s Health Day

To promote positive male role models; not just movie stars and sports men but everyday, working class men who are living decent, honest lives. To celebrate men’s positive contributions to society, community, family, marriage, child care, and to the environment. To focus on men’s health and well being; social, emotional, physical and spiritual. To highlight discrimination against men; in areas of social services, social attitudes and expectations, and law. To improve gender relations and promote gender equality. To create a safer, better world; where people can be safe and grow to reach their full potential.

The service provided at the Men's Health Centre is a confidential service- your information is only to be shared within the team of people helping you- the “care team”. Your doctor is considered a member of the “care team” unless you specifically request otherwise. He/She may be involved in a review of your care and may receive reports related to your treatment/care.
