Family Charity Golf Tournament |

In its 2nd year, this golf tournament began in 2011 by a group of golfers who wanted to make a difference. It is responsible for raising in excess of $10,000 to meet a variety of needs for Family Service of Eastern Nova Scotia. This agency has been serving families for over 41 years. The agency runs programs for families and training for professionals. Family, couple, and individual therapy sessions are offered to help families deal with a variety of life issues.
Lingan Golf and Country Club played host to the 1st annual Family Golf tournament in support of Family Service of Eastern Nova. This tournament was a 4 person team with a Shot Gun followed by a fabulous meal prepared by local restaurant Flavors 19.
The tournament proved to be very popular with plans already being made for the 2012 version already in the works to be held on July 6th, 2012. |
